Chemical Peel Rituals

While it is possible to receive Chemical Peel Rituals at any time of the year, it is VITAL to use proper sun protection to reduce the risks of complications. Chemical Peels are best recommended to be received from October to March during cooler/colder months.

A Chemical Peel is a technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. Facial skin is mostly treated, and scarring can be improved. Chemical Peels are intended to remove the outermost layers of the skin. To accomplish this task, the chosen peel solution induces a controlled injury to the skin.

A light, or superficial, peel produces results that usually last between one and two months. A medium peel's results will last between two and six months, and the results of a deep peel are long lasting. However, with any level of peel, the duration of the results are dependent on a strict healing regime, a proper and beneficial skincare routine, and diligent sun care protection.

Our peels are set by Tiers; The Novice (T1), The Sorcerer (T2), and The Magus (T3). “Light”, “Medium” and “Deep” denotes the level of peeling that occurs during healing, not skin tone. A consultation is required before booking with one of our Skin Ritualists to determine which tier is best for your skin type and condition, to best address any concerns you may have, and to provide the best outcome for the goals you are wanting to achieve for your skin.

The Novice: Tier One [Light]

“The Novice” Ritual, or Tier One, Chemical Peels are peels that either have minimum to no or light to moderate peeling/flaking of the skin. This tier is suitable for Fitzpatricks 1-5. These peels focus on anti-aging, acne, resurfacing of skin, and evening of tone.  0-3 days of downtime.

The Sorcerer: Tier Two [Medium]

“The Sorcerer” Ritual, or Tier II, Chemical Peels are peels that have light to moderate peeling/flaking with dry, itchy tightness of the skin. These peels focus on anti-aging, acne, resurfacing of skin, and evening of tone.  5-7 days of downtime. 

This tier includes the following peels:

PCA + R + HQ | PCA 

Ultra Peel | PCA 

Mixed Peel | Seni + Ultra | PCA

The Magus: Tier Three

“The Magus” Ritual, or Tier II, Chemical Peels are peels that have moderate to heavy peeling/flaking with very dry, itchy tightness, and possible blanching of the skin. These peels focus on anti-aging, acne, resurfacing of skin, and evening of tone.  14 days (2 weeks) of downtime.
